Overview
DP101: an RS-232C-connected, 2x16 LCD-display thermal receipt printer capable of barcode and report printing on 57 mm paper.
The DP101 is a versatile thermal receipt printer that connects directly to weighing instruments via RS-232C, communicating either by cable or, optionally, wirelessly. It prints 24 characters per line on 57 mm-wide roll paper at a writing speed of 80 mm/s.
Its backlit 2×16 character LCD displays the company name, product name, product code, item count and totals. The receipt can print the company logo, company name, product name, product code, receipt number and barcode; the barcode can also encode the product code together with the weight or item count. Weight and item counts can be summed by product into a report printout. An "Easy Load" mechanism makes roll-paper changes easy; data can be programmed into the printer via an alphanumeric keypad or a portable SD card.
