Overview
SPW load shackle: a 3–1000 t capacity load shackle with up to 100 m wireless range and combined monitoring of up to 16 channels.
The SPW load shackle pin is a load-measuring shackle integrated into the shackle bow itself, providing direct force measurement at the lifting or anchoring point. It is manufactured from high-strength alloy steel, with an optional 17-4PH grade stainless steel version available on request.
Its capacity range spans a wide 3 to 1000 tonnes. It communicates wirelessly with a handheld indicator over distances up to 100 metres; this indicator is purpose-designed for the SPW. A 192×64 dot-matrix LCD, which can display the weight readings from 16 separate load pins both individually and as a total, supports kg, tonne, pound, Newton and kilonewton units. Both the load shackle and the handheld indicator run on an internal rechargeable battery.
